Skylark was ideal for our family holiday in Woolacoombe, quiet location, with a 5 minute drive to the beach. Loved the open plan ground floor, with garden view. Nice touch with the chocolates on arrival. Only one complaint though - There were dog hairs all over the outside furniture cushions ! But would definitely stop here again when next in the area.

Lovely house, furniture seemed a little tired and we felt the hot tub charge of £200 for a few nights was just too much, so we didn't use it. Garden was lovely and the house had all the equipment you need. Bathrooms were nice too. A bit disappointed the pub at the end of the road was no longer open, as having a pub at the end of the road was one of the reasons we booked it! We had some lovely walks on the gorgeous beaches nearby and the location was so quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful home very clean, up to date, lots of space, great showers, comfy beds and hot tub if required. Perfect location 2 mins drive from the beach, lovely pub across the road very friendly great food. Highly recommend

We had a lovely holiday at skylark. The house was very clean and the kitchen well equipped. Loved the hot tub and the garden too especially as we took our dog along. I can't fault ocean cottages they were very informative and any questions I had they answered straight away . We would definitely go again and I would definitely use ocean cottages again.

Cleanliness was amazing every bathroom and bedroom were spotless on arrival. Again in strange times was nice to see it was a priority. Plenty of space inside big kitchen with everything needed in there. Hot tub was lovely, the only thing I would say is that if you've got pets take lots of extra towels as the garden was abit of a mud bath due to the rain. But we pet owners expect that anyway. Overall lovely stay some lovely Sunsets if you catch them just over looking the sea. Spacious and modern. And a great local pub just at the bottom of the lane where you can take the dogs in and they like to feed them steak. Lovely touch.

Lovely stay at Skylark, this is our second visit.  I will definitely be abck, weather was amazing!

We had a great stay in Skylark.  the hot tub was amazing. Also the beach was massive and we even went boogie boarding.  we met our friends and played with our friends at the beach.

Incredible week of hot sunshine, clear blue skies and stunning sunsets.  What a week to have chosen to come back to my childhood summers of yesteryear to revisit special places.  The House is very well equipped, light and airy, hot tub delicious especially with a long G&T in hand after a day out.

Saunton Sands - Miles of sand and clear waters - dog friendly - brethtakingly beautiful.

Ilfracombe - Fish and Chips on the harbour quay

Woolacombe - Great walks - Mortehoe

Tarr Steps - Worth a visit for the woodland walk along the river, watch out for the Horseflies!!

We've had fabulous beach days at Barricane Beach - seen the sights on the Princess Cruise in Ilfracome, visited the Ilfracombe Aquarium and had a great day at Coombe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park. Skylark and Tarka Lane is the perfect place to set up home for a lovely week in North Devon. We have thoroughly enjoyed it again! More memories made.
