This lovely 5 bedroom holiday home is presented to a very high standard with wonderful attention to detail. There are two bedrooms to the ground floor (one twin and one kingsize double) and 3 bedrooms to the first floor (master bedroom zip & link, twin bedroom & further zip & link). There is a family bathroom upstairs with seperate shower. Downstairs the walk in shower room has underfloor heating as does the travertine tiled wetsuit drying room. All the bedrooms are fitted with flat screen tv's.
A spacious hallway gives access to the dual aspect sitting room with a wood burner, Smart TV and DVD/Blu Ray player which also has a free sat box. Oak doors open to the dining room with 9ft oak table and chairs for 10 people. The dining room provides seating for 10 people and has the a wireless bluetooth speaker and leads around to the well fitted kitchen with granite work tops and integrated appliances including dishwasher, microwave, split level oven, gas hob and built in fridges and freezers. The kitchen leads to the utility room, cloakroom and door to the side of the property.
To the side of the property there is a separate entrance to the wetsuit drying room with underfloor heating and hanging rails, steps down to a decked terrace and further steps down to the lawned garden where there is a large decked terrace with heavy wooden chairs and extending wooden table providing a lovely place to sit, relax and entertain after a hard day on the beach. There is use of a coal BBQ.

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 4 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 6 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 6pm and the check out time is 9am.

White Sands was a lovely clean, well appointed house and is a fantastic base for the area. Being just a few hundred yards to the centre is great to be accessible yet quiet. Just a few moments from the pub as well. Beautifully clean. Well appointed. Excellent range of fittings, utensils and facilities in the house. Nice big space for the amount of guests it can take.
Good size rooms giving space to enjoy meals and relaxation.Comfortable bedrooms of a good size. Ground floor annex an excellent space allows a family with children to have own space. House sits on narrow main road, although not disturbed by traffic noise, can be tricky to enter - exit Walking distance to Croyde beach & town, plus ootherwise adjacent to house.
White Sands is a fantastic home from home. Fabulous fully fitted kitchen. Great utility room with extra fridge - perfect for chilling a few beers & a bottle or two of Prosecco. Extra large dining area - seated nine of us easily. Lovely large lounge area with three sofas, one of which was a massive corner suite. Five spacious bedrooms - two on the ground floor - great for anyone with mobility issues. Family bathroom upstairs, family shower room on the ground flour, both with WC's. Also another downstairs WC off the utility room. Boot/drying room too. And an outside shower - perfect when you're back from the beach. Ten minute walk into the village, 20 minutes walk to the beach. Excellent pubs in the village, a market on the green twice a week. Our second time in Croyde, our first time at White Sands. We were so pleased with White Sands that we've already booked for 2021. Book now - you won't be disappointed.
We found the property easily enough ( though What3Words address for each property would be really helpful) we use it all the time and as a business too. Although its a ten person property there were only 2 'relaxing' chairs. We have electric cars ( Tesla's) and so an outside double socket would have been helpful rather than charging through the window. We found the comms before, during and after the stay - brilliant. We won this (paid £3750) in the silent auction at last year's - Missing People Leading Lights Gala and we are glad we did. Thank you to whomever donated it.
This is our 4th year in this property, it is perfect for our requirements. We will be back again next year again, need we say more.
We had a lovely time and all enjoyed our second New year stay here. With 5 children all streaming at the same time, the wifi speed could dip but we managed.

Had a lovely week in Devon hot weather. A great house to stay in, it had everything we needed, plenty of room to move around. We had a very prompt engineer when we had no hot water, thank you for the devon cream tea.

We rented this cottage whilst we were getting married in Woolacombe. The property was exactly what we needed and went above and beyond our expectations. The location is fantastic for local restaurants and amenities in Croyde and we could not have needed anything more in terms of facilities at the property. It really felt like a home away from home. Despite a lot of grey and sometimes wet weather, we had a fab week. The cottage is so comfortable. Enjoyed day trips to various places on the coast and plenty of time just chilling at the Cottage.
A very clean, spacious and well equipped property. It was homely, warm and inviting with plenty of space for everyone, all 9 of us spanning three generations! Lots of little details thoughtfully put together that made for a wonderful family Christmas. A Boxing Day walk to and on the nearby beach made for a special occasion. A beautiful area of the country in both summer and winter.
6 adults and 4 children stayed at White Sands cottage. one of the best we have stayed in, close to everything and very clean and comfortable.
