Surfside is a modern, well presented 3 bedroom house located in a sought after development of exclusive beach front homes. The property offers open plan luxury living with a contemporary well equipped kitchen/dining/living room that lends itself perfectly to a stress-free and easy atmosphere when cooking and catching up with family and friends or chatting over a coffee from the Nespresso coffee machine. There is a dining table that seats 6 people and comfortable seating in the sitting area for really making the most of your chilled time indoors. Guests can enjoy BT Sport on the 49" TV. There is a DVD player and Bose docking station for your entertainment, as well as BT infinity fibre internet. This lovely living area leads out through French doors onto a terrace that boasts some spectacular panoramic views over the famous surfing beach, rock pools and dunes. The ideal spot for relaxing on a summer's evening with a cool drink in hand! Further to these wonderful rooms, there is also a wet room to the ground floor which is just perfect for washing off after a long day at the beach- there are also outdoor communal showers should you wish to rinse off the day's accumulation of sand and sun cream before you enter into the easy living of Surfside.
To the first floor there is a fabulous, modern master super-king bedroom with a spacious en-suite shower room and a Juliette balcony that offers simply stunning sea views. This magical room is sure to take your breath away and leave you full of appreciation for natures beautiful scenery. Also on the first floor you will find a twin bedroom with yet another good sized en-suite bathroom and a charming children's bunk room. Both decorated stylishly with fresh furnishings and attractive, well placed lighting.
Outside there is designated secure parking for 1 vehicle plus a designated visitors space. The visitors space is first come first served so we would prefer not to indicate that it is definitely for the client.
The enchanting south facing terrace makes the most of the sunshine and houses a table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining. There is a Coal BBQ provided should you wish to try some of our tasty local meat and seafood for your dinner! This really is the perfect place to watch the sun set over Lundy and conjure up new dreams for the future.

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 5pm and the check out time is 10am.

Perfect location overlooking the sea , really easy access to the beach , lovely well equipped and cosy apartment with everything you need. The master bedroom is fabulous where you can hear the ocean and peaceful and chilled. You are just on the outskirts which is great as not in the thick of the holiday parks but you are still just a short walk from the village. Fabulous walks to baggy point . A couple of tips , make sure you either have an online shop or organise a big shop as the supermarkets in the area are basic . Also book restaurants well in advance at the moment as it is really hard for them as they are short staffed in many places. Do not want to leave this magical place !
What a great place to 'staycation' - super location, excellent standards, really well appointed. We had a fantastic time and hope to return soon.
First change of scenery in 18months and how glorious- lovely and snuggly warm home with extra blankets and rugs which makes it more homely than a 'usual' holiday house. Weather was typical English with high winds/rain and drizzle but surfing everyday and went horse riding at Woolacombe riding stables - which was a real treat, despite being thrown off on the beach and the horse running away... but was still smiling despite this as I was not an experienced rider and they were all so kind and professional. Lots of extra bits and bobs like coffee pods/complimentary wine and dog blankets/rugs and toys and even emergency dog food it needed. No need to bring cooking extras like oil, spices etc Highly recommend and high spec.
A fabulous spot with all you need for a fabulous seaside holiday. We can't wait to come back.

The sounds of the waves on the beach and the rocks, the gulls floating past, the surfers doing their thing and the hundreds on the beach at times enjoying the outdoor life, and the sunsets all viewed from our bedroom window, our living area and the outside patio area overlooking the Croyde beach, the estuary and Clovelly side of that estuary, and the Atlantic waves breaking, all will live with us. No 5 Out of the Blue is superb, very well equipped with all you need for a self catering for 4 adults and 2 others who would share the bunk beds room. It was immaculately clean and presented when we arrived, plus the greeting package which was very welcome. In fact we could not fault it at all, with its position overlooking the beach making the patio area outside seating area for meals, drinks, sunbathing a bonus worth paying that extra for. It has "high end " TV system, microwave, cooker , the showers were excellent (having "outside the front door " shower before entry to the house is a real bonus as is the one on the ground floor immediately inside ). Although the technical working of the high end microwave and the BT TV system were a little challenging to get fully functional activity from, this is not a criticism as it shows the attention to detail and quality that the owners have given. It should be pointed out that the place has immediate access to the beach via the slipway, and is only a 15 minute walk into Croyde itself to reach the places to eat and shop. Croyde Village is as unspoilt as it can be as a surfers and vacationers Hot spot and the beach is supervised by the RNLI all day in the vacation season. We can comment most positively on the organisation that the Ocean Cottages have provided for this vacation, informative, accurate and clear instructions at every step giving us a fantastic vacation week, thanks.
We had an amazing weekend away for my husbands 40th birthday. This apartment did not disappoint. The view was incredible from both the front room and the master bedroom. The apartment was exceptionally clean and with all the home comforts you could need. We will be back again!

Being surfers the location was perfect. The house has everything you could want, either as a couple of surfers or a family.
The view from the decking, or from the bed is almost worth the price alone.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
