Sands End offers the ideal base for your family holiday, with 4 bedrooms (master en-suite), family shower room, large open plan kitchen/dining/living room, and enclosed lawned garden - ideal for children and dogs alike!
The kitchen area is well equipped with modern storage units, beautiful rangemaster range with gas hob and electric oven and a microwave. Also in the kitchen you will find a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Nespresso coffee machine (pods not provided) and a wine fridge.
There is a dining area with table and chairs providing seating for up to 12 with french doors leading on to the patio/garden area with outdoor table and chairs for alfresco dining.
There is a living area with comfortable seating where you will find a flat screen TV with freeview and SkyQ, a DVD player and a wood burner for those cosy nights in.
The master bedroom, which has limited head room, is located on the first floor and houses a king size bed, plenty of storage space, en-suite bathroom with a walk in shower, WC and sink.
To the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms. One of these bedrooms is a bunk bed room with en-suite (walk in shower, WC and sink). There is bedroom with a zip & link mattress which can be used as a superking double or two full size twin singles, there is also a built in wardrobe. There is another double room on this floor with built in wardrobe and access into the garden.
The beautiful garden provides a great deal of privacy and a lovely environment for children and dogs. There is a gated path to the side of the house to access the garden and an outside shower. Seating for 8 people can be found on the patio with a Weber BBQ for you to use. On the terrace there is a hot tub (charges apply) where you can relax and enjoy the sunsets.
The driveway has parking for up to 2 vehicles with unrestricted residents parking to the road outside the property.
Wifi, bed linen and hand/bath towels are provided free of charge.
Up to 2 well behaved dogs are accepted at this property with an additional charge of £20 per dog, per week/short break.

Additional Booking Information
£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 4 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 6 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 6pm and the check out time is 9am.

Please note, to ensure optimum cleanliness & hygiene of the hot tub, it will be completely emptied and re-filled with water and chemicals on your arrival day. Therefore, the hot tub may not be up to temperature until the morning after your arrival.

Would book this house again, handy for sea, lovely hot tub, and really nice quality home fittings and utensils etc. So often one rents with basic mugs, cheap cutlery etc, this was entirely different, we were so glad the quality was there because the weather was awful, but not put us off we will be back!
Sands End was the perfect choice of accommodation for our family holiday in delightful Croyde. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained, making it very easy to settle in to. The hot tub was a great asset too! The location was spot on, being in easy walking distance of the beach and village. Would love to return to this property.
We were very impressed with Sands End, very clean and tidy. Loved the hot tub. A tumble dryer would have been handy but not sure where you would install one! The location for the beach was brilliant especially as our 2 year old granddaughter wanted to walk there and back every time! Ha ha. A little confused about the bin collection. Also very impressed with the service from Ocean Cottages and will be recommending them to family and friends. Thank you, we had a brilliant family holiday, just what we needed.
Sands End is located just a few minutes from the pubs and shops in the village and there is a short almost car free walk to the beach. We were the first rental after lock down was eased and some of the stuff that makes Sands End comfortable like the settee cushions and seat pads for the outside furniture had been removed because they cannot be made COVID safe. I would strongly recommend all guests to bring a couple of cushions with them and something to pad the outside chairs otherwise they are pretty unusable. The kitchen whilst less well equipped than usual still contained enough stuff for us to cook everything we wanted to. The BBQ is great and we used a local butcher in Braunton (Reeds) for meat. Sands End is a very comfortable property with space for 3 cars on the drive. The beds are comfy and having a SMART TV means we can still sign into Netflix etc... We only ate out once but used local takeaways Blue Groove, Pop Up Pizza in the Village and Hobs. The fairs and markets in Croyde (Tuesday/Thursday/Sunday) when we visited were a lovely diversion after being stuck at home indoors for weeks. This was our second holiday in Sands End and we are already rebooked for October and next July.
Lovely bungalow, spotless on arrival. Comfortable beds, Croyde itself never lets us down. Only suggestion to improve, is to have a television in the Master Bedroom and hair dryer, otherwise facilities excellent.

This is a fantastic space for a family or two families. It has excellent decor, and is really well equipped with all that you need. The location is perfect,a lovely quiet road that has immediate access via an easy footpath to the beach. Space for two cars and more on the street if you need. Very easy little walk into croyde, we absolutely loved it and so did our girls ages 4 and 1.
This is a modern large property with an excellent kitchen with everything in it you could possibly want. The outdoor warm shower for post surfing is absolutely perfect. It's very close to the village and beach. We had a great week and it's a luxury to come back from surfing, using the outdoor shower and relax in the hot tub! Five star.
