We had a wonderful stay at Langtrees with our children, their partners and grandkids. A very comfortable and well equipped house with a very modern ambience. Wonderful garden and hot-tub. would recommend to others.

Our 30 something consecutive year of Croyde / Woolacombe. Ocean Cottages is a well-run, reliable and generous business that we have used a number if times. Langtrees is in an ideal position just a short stroll into Croyde and the cut-through to the beach, and if you walk the opposite way up Cott Lane you quickly reach a myriad of truly beautiful walking routes. The house itself is very comfortable and our extended family group of 9 adults found it easy to relax and enjoy. Potentially an extra shower-room downstairs would be a useful addition? Saying that, we would definitely book the same next year.

Langtrees is beautifully maintained, equipped and very comfortable for a large family group. It is in a very quiet location within easy walking distance of all that Croyde has to offer. The supply of hot water was endless - which was great for the shower run after a day at the beach. It would have received 5 stars if there was one more bathroom! Would highly recommend this place and would happily stay again in returning to Croyde.

This was our third visit to Langtrees and we found it as immaculate and well equipped as ever. The house and garden are a really safe and happy environment for small children with the bonus of the hot tub. We didn't have perfect weather but it didn't matter we still had a lovely time. The beach at Croyde is just wonderful and the countryside around is so beautiful.

We had a wonderful holiday once again in Croyde - the village has everything on offer and the beach is amazing. Langtrees is the perfect home for 3 generations holidaying together and the photos do not do the garden justice it is so peaceful and pretty.

From the moment you step through the door you realise this is a magnificantly appointed property! Lovely furnishing, ample crockery, very comfy beds, plenty of hot water. We paid extra for the hot tub and this was well worth it! The gardens are extensive with little paths running through the bushes all the way up to a field at the top. Ample parking for three cars.

Spacious comfy well-equipped house - spotlessly clean. Comfy beds. Great to have superking master bedroom and the option in 2 other rooms. Really close to centre of village. The garden though … that's on another level! Someone has put a lot of love into that.

A wonderful family Easter holiday. Langtrees is wonderfully comfortable and the garden and hot tub made it really special. We had our annual Easter Egg hunt in the superb garden. The area is beautiful with lots to explore. Thanks for a fantastic holiday!  

Team at Ocean Cottages were super helpful making a last minute change to our plans due to unforeseen circumstances. Luckily we chose Langtrees - it's better than the photos on the site, which is always a good start! The house is tucked away down a no through lane right in the middle of the village. Each of the main rooms, and all the bedrooms, overlook the absolutely stunning gardens. Beds very comfortable as well. The outside area is completely peaceful and private, there is a hot tub, and there are super opportunities for hide and seek in the gardens which rise gradually away from the house. Croyde in low season was as charming as ever. Cinnamon doughnuts a huge hit with the children, and we love the New Coast Kitchen for brunch and supper - worth booking in advance!

Very comfortable

This is a very good house with spacious living accommodation. Great and very safe for small children. Comfortable beds and furniture and all the necessary equipment. Could do with more cutlery and crockery as we were doing a lot of catering because we had 4 small children and 6 adults. Garden is very private with views to the hills, also the back area was perfect for hide and seek. Never heard any neighbours. Pleasant 15 min walk to the beach. Beautiful area. We had a lovely holiday here.

We have just returned from a lovely week break in Croyde. This house is lovely, its right in the heart of the Village with easy access to all the pubs and also the beach. The gardens are stunning and really great to explore. A true gem and great find in Croyde.

The Ocean cottages team were efficient, responsive and very helpful when there were issues/questions. Would highly recommend!

Gorgeous well equipped house with suntrap garden with ready to pick apples. Lost one star as it only has one bathroom for three bedrooms - the other is ensuite to the master bedroom so while it may suit a larger family group it would not work for 9 adults sharing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Langtrees. The house is beautiful and in fantastic condition with the most stunning garden I've ever seen! The house is very spacious and comfortable and located 2 minutes walk from the village where you will find surf shops, pubs and restaurants. Croyde beach is about 10 mins walk from the house. There is parking for 3 cars and a very useful utility room with a washer and dryer available. We could have done with a few bits in the kitchen, more baking trays, oven gloves and better tin opener and veg peeler but otherwise the kitchen was well stocked with glasses, plates, etc and a dishwasher (bring your own tablets although a few are provided). Also don't forget soap as there is none in the bathrooms.

A superbly equipped, presented and located property surrounded by a stunning garden. Was extremely comfortable for a family of 8. Ocean Cottages were very efficient and easy to deal with. Would book again.

We loved our stay at Langtrees. The house is very well equipped with a beautiful outside area and garden. We were lucky with the weather as well! We had breakfast outside on the patio every morning!

We really enjoyed our stay in Langtrees last week, The house is well equipped particularly in the kitchen and the garden is wonderful. Unfortunately the weather wasn't perfect so didn't make full use of the lovely garden furniture and the hot tub but we did our best! The house is in a good location, easy, short walk (but not many pavements) in to the village and about 10/15 minutes to the glorious beach. Perfect.
