Sunny Sands is a fabulous newly refurbished 5 bedroom holiday home in Croyde with direct access to the footpath leading to the beach, large garden, summer house, pet friendly and HOT TUB!

Sunny Sands has proven to be a very popular choice for guests.  This property offers everything you need for a wonderful holiday in Croyde with family and friends!

Living

The spacious living room offers comfortable seating for 7 people and is equipped with a huge Smart TV. There is a lovely woodburning stove - perfect for cosy evenings after a long winter's walk!  There are also two 'reading areas' one downstairs just off the hall with a cuddle chair and window overlooking the garden, the other at the top of the stairs where there is an armchair and bookcase.

Cooking/Dining

The beautiful kitchen/dining room has been given a recent revamp with new tiles, worktops and appliances. There is a 4-oven range cooker with gas hob, large American style fridge/freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, wine cooler and a dishwasher.  New Denby crockery and Viners cutlery are provided and we are sure many nights around the large dining table (with seating for 10) will be enjoyed!  Bi-fold doors open out on to the large composite decked area in the garden.  There is a very useful utility area in the garage (which can be accessed from inside the property) where an extra fridge, sink, washing machine, tumble dryer and storage for bikes/beach equipment can be found.  Also accessible from the utility/garage and with a door to the front drive, is a surfboard storage area which leads through to a wet room with access to the garden.

Sleeping

There are 5 bedrooms in total, two being on the ground floor which makes this property suitable for people with restricted mobility.  Both ground floor bedrooms have king size beds,  a smart tv and bedroom 2 benefits from an ensuite bathroom with shower over the bath and French doors leading onto the decked hot tub area and garden. A shower room to the ground floor services Bedroom 3.  Upstairs there is a very spacious master bedroom with superking bed, large smart tv, with hanging space, desk/study area and bi-fold doors leading to a great balcony which is equipped with a rattan sofa set and enjoys views over the garden and across Croyde village towards the Dunes and surrounding countryside.  The master bedroom also has an en-suite shower room.  Bedroom 4 is a twin room (some restricted headroom) and bedroom 5 is a single.  There is an option of a pull out trundle bed for an additional child if required, this can be added during the booking process.

Bathing

On the ground floor there is a family shower room, ensuite bathroom to bedroom 2 and a newly installed wet room which can be accessed from the garden and utility room - perfect for washing off after the beach or before a dip in the hot tub! Upstairs there is an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. Outside there is a wetsuit washing area with hose pipe and hanging rail.

Outside

Exploring the garden at Sunny Sands will leave you 'wowed'! There is something here for every member of the family to enjoy - the hot tub (included in the price) which is well placed on the large composite decked terrace where there is also an outside corner sofa with table and extra stools - perfect for 'al-fresco' dining.  A summer house with sofa and smart tv, purpose built charcoal Bushbeck BBQ (coal not provided), a good sized lawned area and secure gate which gives access to the footpath leading directly to the beach!  The garden is fully enclosed for children and dogs and there is a wetsuit washing area with hanging rail for drying.  To the front of the property there is ample driveway parking for at least 4 vehicles or more dependent upon the size of the vehicle and Sandy Way also has unrestricted roadside parking for residents and guests.  The garden can be accessed from either side of the property, one side via a secure coded gate and the other via the board store/wet room.  There is also a very large balcony accessed via the master bedroom which enjoys stunning views across Croyde, the surrounding countryside and towards the Dunes and Baggy Point.

The ground floor bedrooms and shower room enables this property to be suitable for people with restricted mobility, however please speak with us prior to booking as there are some steps around the property which may not be suitable for wheelchair users.

Additional Booking Information

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.

50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable).  If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.

Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

Lovely property

Lovely & comfortable well equipped property. A fantastic multi family use property however it could have a separate bathroom upstairs other than the en-suite. The decking is in need of a deep clean it is very slimy in places This property is in a good walking distance of Croyd village & the beach. We had a fantastic holiday Thankyou

Fabulous

Spent a week in this gorgeous property spanning 3 generations. Great access to Croyde beach, walks to Puttsborough/Woolacombe/Saunton Sands/Baggy Point. Local amenities cater for breakfasts , coffee through to dinner. Facilities in the property were great - plenty of space to spread out, bbq, hot tub, well equipped kitchen - nothing to fault. I didn't want to leave such a great review incase someone books it before me for next summer!

Lovely house but...

I wasn't expecting to have to clean the fridge shelves which were brown with food residue and the sticky door handles of the kitchen units when I arrived. The fridge had been "cleaned" as the bottom of the fridge was full of water which leaked every time you opened it... we sorted it all out but it's such a shame as it ruined the first impression. I have to say the as the rest of the house was spotless, but as the kitchen is the heart of that house, it should be clean. That minor gripe said, it's a beautiful comfortable house, equipped with everything you could need. I would definitely book the house again, I'll just take some cleaning gear ;0)

Everything we hoped for and more!

Sunny Sands is a wonderfully spacious house with lots of outside space too which we were able to enjoy in fabulous weather! It's ideally located for the beach and the village. Very well equipped and it was really helpful having all the drawers and cupboards marked with their contents. We'd thoroughly recommend a stay at Sunny Sands and hope we'll be back again one day.

Excellent holiday house.

We had a lovely time at Sunny Sands, the house is perfect for 6 adults and two small children. We particularly enjoyed spending time on the deck where there is an excellent hot tub and plenty of seating options.

Lovely Stay

Lovely stay at Sunny Sands. The property was set up brilliantly with almost anything you could possibly want. It felt very clean and well organised. Short walk to Croyde beach and the centre of Croyde. I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Amazing house!

Lovely house in a great location, fully equipped with everything you would need and plenty of space for a large family to relax and enjoy the local area. Just a couple minutes walk to the village and 5 minutes walk to the sea. Will definitely return :)

Every comfort catered for

A very well equipped comfortable and spacious house. Good quality ,good condition equipment furniture & bed linen towels etc. Very clean with good attractive decor. Great hot tub and outside furniture. The shower / wetsuit drying room very useful for surfers etc returning from beach. Good for cleaning the dog too. Attractive outlook from the back windows and very convenient For access to beach, village, pub and nearby beaches. This property was great for a winter break and would be even better in summer. Would love to return.

A fabulous holiday home which exceeded our expectations.

We were really impressed with the quality of everything at Sunny Sands. It really felt like a 'home from home'. Cocktail glasses, cocktail shakers and amazingly comfortable beds! Perfect for a family gathering and the hot tub was an added bonus. We hope to be able to return again next year.

Great house in an amazing location

We had a great holiday at Sunny Sands in August, the house is beautifully furnished and well thought out, a prime example being the wet room accessed from the garden so you can wash off straight from the beach and jump straight into the hot tub! Also great to have the garage for surf boards etc. Beds really comfy and plenty of storage. The location is amazing, just a short 5-10 minutes stroll out of the back gate to Croyde beach. We'll definitely be back!
