Long Beach HouseOC 126
Longbeach House is aptly named with its enviable vantage point gazing down over the golden sands of, arguably, Britain's best and safest family beach - Woolacombe. Consistently heralded as one of the finest beaches in the country (TripAdvisor voted it the best beach in the UK two years running), the pristine sands, backdropped by dramatic dunes and flanked by breath-taking headlands where the sea meets Exmoor, are less than a 10 minute stroll away.
Its location within the North Devon Coastal Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty makes Woolacombe a spectacular beach to visit at any time of the year.
Nestled into the side of the valley, Longbeach House commands sensational views across the sparkling bay and out, onwards, to mystical Lundy Island on the horizon with Devon's rolling hills opposite. As the sun settles, the large sun terrace becomes the ideal place to luxuriate and admire the breathtaking sunsets.
The accommodation is perfectly set up to cater for a variety of parties up to 6, with 2 double ensuite bedrooms, a twin room and family bathroom. Both of the double rooms revel in Longbeach's stunning views of the beach, sea and countryside.
On the ground floor, the spacious living room has full-width bi-fold doors to fully accentuate the spectacular views; these open on to the capacious sun terrace above the enclosed garden. The large separate kitchen / diner leads off the living room and enjoys similarly spectacular views and is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare the perfect family meal. The sun terrace can be assessed directly from the kitchen via patio doors.
There is also a fully equipped laundry room and a separate cloakroom.
Longbeach has all you might need for a memorable family beach holiday, or a relaxing seasonal break away from it all. Outside there are surfboard racks, wetsuit rails, sun loungers, an Outback gas BBQ, fire-pit and a large table and chairs where the whole family can dine al fresco as the sun goes down. Internally, the well proportioned rooms are decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard and designed to fully maximise the light and vistas. To further enhance your sojourn, a Smart TV with sound bar, Apple TV, Blu-Ray player, a 3.1 surround sound Onkyo Hi-Fi amplifier system and, naturally, fast unlimited secure broadband.
Woolacombe centre, with its amazing range of bars, restaurants, pubs and shops is but a short walk away and nearby there are a myriad sights to see. You could venture along the coast to Lynton and Lynmouth with its functioning Funicular Railway, Ilfracombe and the working harbour and Damien Hurst exhibit or further afield, Exmoor and its heather-covered moorland and pretty, chocolate-box villages. There are so many more places to explore right on the doorstep that this makes Woolacombe, and Longbeach House particularly, the compelling base for your holiday.
The property benefits from two off-road private parking spaces with a dedicated EV Charge Point (charges apply, please see below).
Easily accessible from anywhere in the country via the M5 and the North Devon Link Road - it's perfect for a fortnight, a week or just a long weekend of indulgence.
Should you elect to enjoy Longbeach House, we are convinced you will have a truly memorable holiday as so, so many others have done before you.

Another fabulous but woefully short stay at this wonderful spot! We come every year and it never fails to live well beyond our expectations.
The house is our home away from home; clean, spacious, warm and always welcoming. We love all the rooms and it is always well kepy. Always new bits and pecies added each stay to make it a wonderfully comforatable and relaxing break.
There is a new electric charging point, outdoor furniture and local paintingof the fantastic beach. I defy you not to be moved when you stand on the patio and look out and listen...its a glorious spot! Just love it here!
The house has the Wow factor. The views of the beach and sea are wonderful. It is well equipped and very comfortable. We will be back again soon.
Luxury home with excellent facilities for a family of up to 6. Views from the south facing terrace are superb and great area to unwind and watch the sunset towards Lundy Island. Excellent base for the beach and catching waves/body boarding first or last thing and then exploring the local area on the network of footpaths around Woolacombe, Mortehoe, Lee or further afield towards Ilfracombe, Heddon's Mouth and Woody Bay. Cannot wait to return
Beautiful house with all the amenities that you need for a comfortable holiday with fantastic views over looking the sea & woolacombe bay
We had an amazing week, full of lovely memories. Beautiful house with everything you could want (except a shaving point for my toothbrush ). Would definitely love to come back again x
We had a brilliant week staying here. Decor is fresh and crisp and the kitchen is very well equipped. It was very clean and tidy on arrival. The garden has an epic view too. Our only suggestion is for there to be a better quality table and chairs outside so you could enjoy the view in comfort. There's currently only a round pub bench-style table whereas the adjoining property has a lovely table and chairs.
We have spent a lovely week here. Beautiful house, magnificent views over the bay, wonderful beach. Lots of nice places to eat.
A shame the weather wasn't too good but we made the most of it and the rain didn't bother us too much. A wonderful family holiday, hope to be back one day.
It has been a very relaxing week. The house is beautiful. great views. We look forward to returning
It was absolutely lovely to be able to look out over the beach and sea from the picture windows and patio, with views across to Lundy Island as well as to Baggy Point and Hartland. Hearing the lapping sea was magical. Great location for exploring the area and for coastal and country walks.
Had an awesome time. Incredible walks and managed to catch a few waves. The house is clean and well equipped.
Lovely house - great views! Would recommend. Croyde worht a visit too, toddler loved it there on the beach. Curry on Barricane Beach was fab. Funder Island great for little one and very handy because you can use tokens over the week. A wonderful holiday for the Webb family
We have all really enjoyed our stay at 3 Long Beach, such a beautiful house and amazing views. We really appreciated the cake and tea/coffee/milk on arrival. Thank you very much. We can recommend the Bar Electric in Woolacombe and the Chichester Arms in Mortehoe for Sunday roast. We enjoyed visiting Croyde, Combe Martin and the cliff railway between Lynton and Lynmouth is a must. Just a shame the weather wasn't brilliant, but will definitely be recommending this house. Thank you for a lovely holiday!
It has been so wonderful to return to the Long Beach House we first visited nearly 3 years ago, our children now 5 and 3 years! the house just as it was, the house exceptionally clean as usual and well equipped still. the views are breathtakingly mesmerizing! A great lookout point and a lovely garden to spend an early summers evening! We have been blessed with the weather, having only 2 overcast days out of 10. but it was still very warm. We have a tan that could rival a week in Majorca! We mainly spent out time on the beach here in Woolacombe but did visit Ilfracombe, Watermouth Castle and the Wildlife and Dinosaur Park - a big hit with out son! We also visited Saunton Beach, to see the D-Day parade which was fantastic fun and educational too. As before, a wonderful stay in a beautiful house, we will miss it, though we will return again soon!
The three nights that we've spent here have been absolutely amazing. the sights, the works, the memories made out on the beach only to come back to a stunning house and such a beautifully decorated house too! The trek down to Baggy Point really puts things into perspective as you're just taken away by the sound of the crashing waves and the sights. This trip has honestly been a breath of fresh air, thank you so much for your hospitality!
Great house and location, literally 5 minutes from the beach. Had everything that you'd require for self catering, clean and comfortable. Only criticism is the light weight curtains, need to be thicker to stop the sun shinning in at 4am! As a family we have been holidaying at Woolacombe for years and would definitely use Ocean Cottages and Long Beach house again.
A beautiful house with fabulous views and easy access to all the facilities of Woolacombe, to beach and footpaths. Very clean and quite well-equipped. Perfect for family of grandparents (if quite mobile), parents and teenagers. 2 or 3 showers are the overhead type, not ideal for everybody. Property managers very helpful in every way. Would definitely stay again.
