Windsor cottage is very well and tastefully equipped. It has a nice ambience and is furnished and decorated to a high standard. As it was November, we didn't really use the garden but could see that in summer the decking area which leads straight out of the downstairs bathroom would be ideal. Georgeham is a lovely village with a good shop and two welcoming pubs. So easy to stroll to and the food at both was excellent. Very close to Croyde, Woolacombe and Puttsborough which have lovely beaches for walking. We enjoyed our stay...thank you.

We were a group of 2 couples one furry friend. The cottage was superbly furnished, with a quality finish. An ideal layout for two couples, with a suite downstairs & two bedrooms upstairs with a private bathroom allowing privacy, whilst the shared lounge & kitchen on the entrance level was so suitable for a dog. Two excellent pubs within easy walking distance & a lovely decked area for a sundowner as we were very fortunate with the weather. A fab stay, we would not hesitate to use Ocean Cottages again.

We had a great holiday in this clean, well equipped cottage. Even the kitchen knives were sharp. We were a party of 4 adults and 2 children (11 &14) and there was plenty of room. We are holiday cottage veterans both in Georgeham and around the country and I think that this is one of the best that we have stayed in. Everything you needed including instructions for the appliances. We had no problem with the stairs down to the lower bedroom even though they are quite steep and the utility area was very useful as we didn't have the best of weather. We weren't able to make much use of the decking and garden because it wasn't very sunny and we had rain but we did make the best use of the best beach in the world - Putsborough- every day. I would recommend this cottage and would definitely stay again.

Windsor cottage is a lovely property with ample space for our party of 5 adults and a dog. The house had everything we needed from a well fitted kitchen, dining table, spacious lounge with plenty of seating, good size bedrooms and a bonus with two showers - all well finished. Deck on the lower ground floor great outdoor seating space when the weather permitted! and the boiler room on the deck great for drying towels and wet-suits. We could walk to the two hospitable village pubs serving great food in less than 5 minutes and the well stocked village shop. It is just a 10 minute drive to the beach at Putsborough (we keep coming back it is so good) down typically narrow Devon lanes. If I had two small negatives it would be that the road isn't really wide enough to park a family car outside, but the village car-park is only a 5 minute walk (but be organised for off-loading and loading to avoid bringing the lane to a halt) and that the stairs to the lower bedroom are very narrow and steep and were a bit of a challenge - that said we just went around the outside instead. We normally camp but are definitely considering staying at Windsor Cottage again. We had a super break in a super house.

Every aspect of our safety had been considerted and anticipated in this extremely Covid-friendly house. It was wonderful to arrive and find such a spotlessly clean house. Little touches like providing anti-baterial wipes, hand soaps, dishwasher tablets etc were greatly appreciated. One small point to be aware of is that the steps down to the lower ground floor bedroom are very steep. This was fine for us and didn't cause a problem but it might be an issue for a young cxhild or elderly person. Thank you Ocean Cottages for a wonderful holiday.

We absolutely loved Windsor cottage, family of five ( 2 adults and 3 grown daughters (16-22). the cottage is so comfortable and had everything we could possibly have needed. We self catered most nights. Mum and dad slept downstairs the stairs are steep and narrow so not for the elderly , tall , very young. The bathroom is a basic good shower and loo which we were fine with. upstairs very comfy bedrooms x2 and bathroom with bath and shower. All rooms beautifully decorated and very comfortable beds and pillows. The house was very clean when we arrived . Parking can be tricky as street outside is narrow but most the time you can park a standard car outside the house but anything bigger you would need to park in the village car park a short walk away. there is no charge for this. location.you can walk to putsborough beach -20 minutes or drive of course and be charged 8.50£/day. we took our bikes which we kept in the cottage garden and cycled to Croyde rather than use the car. We will definitely come back. Thank you.
