The newly renovated open plan kitchen/living dining room provides a lovely space for relaxing and entertaining the family. A large smart TV is provided in the lounge along with a freestanding BOSE bluetooth speaker. A woodburner is available in winter months for warmth and comfort during chillier times. Both the lounge and dining table have ample comfortable seating for the full occupancy of the property. The kitchen is well equipped and provides everything you need to cater for the family.
There are three bedrooms to the first floor. The bunk room benefits from having full size single mattresses which could therefore be suitable for two adults if necessary. This bedroom has a chest of drawers and views across the rolling hills towards Putsborough beach.
The second bedroom can either be configured as a twin or double room (please state your requirements upon booking). A wardrobe is provided.
The master bedroom houses a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and looks onto the pretty rear garden.
The family bathroom consists of a WC, wash basin and electric shower over bath and there is a separate wc downstairs.
Sliding doors from the living area lead onto the rear terrace and rear garden and a large bay window to the front of the property makes for a light, bright living space.
The rear garden of Hill Side View is arranged on two levels. The lawned area at the top of the garden is an ideal spot for garden games and picnics and the middle section is planted with a variety of pretty shrubs and flowers. The lower area is paved with direct access from the living area and is a real sun trap! An external table and chairs are provided for this space. The lower area is a real sun trap!
Please note that due to the differences in height between the middle and ground level terraces we always recommend adult supervision of children when using the garden.
A large utility space has been created to the rear of the garage. This room houses a washing machine, drying racks for wetsuits and is ideal storage for surfboards and bikes etc. A coal BBQ has been provided for guest's convenience.
There is driveway parking for one vehicle, however the road is unrestricted and therefore additional vehicles can be parked on the roadside.

Two dogs are welcome at this property.
Putsborough beach is less than 2 miles from this home. This can be walked if desired, however we do recommend driving for day trips to the beach and there is car parking available. The owners of this property have kindly provided a parking permit for use at the Putsborough Beach car park.
Woolacombe, Saunton and Croyde beach are also all within an easy drive of this property.

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 4 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 6 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 6pm and the check out time is 9am.

Hill Side View is a little gem. Located in a delightful quiet village in the heart of North Devon. Close to beautiful beaches it is perfect for surfers, walkers and exploring North Devon and Exmoor. The property is spotlessly clean and very modern boasting a newly fitted kitchen in fashionable style with built in appliances and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. Bedrooms are comfortable with a good sized double, twin and smaller room with bunks. The garden is well presented and landscaped over 2 levels. Sadly due to an autumn break we were not lucky enough to enjoy it to the fullest but still a good outdoor space. I would certainly recommend Hill Side View and would most definitely stay again.
We stayed here for 6 nights in September 19. The house is immaculate and beautifully presented. Everything you could want for your holiday was available, a real home from home. A great base for touring North Devon. We wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to others
