4 bedroom holiday home with large garden and lovely countryside views. Close to village centre and pubs, short drive drive to Putsborough Beach and easy access to South West Coast Path walking routes - pet friendly!


A homely and welcoming 4 bedroom holiday property in central Georgeham with large garden, sleeping up to 8 people, stylish decor and up to 3 well behaved pets accepted.  Currently undergoing garden renovations and final furnishings inside, this lovely property will be available for rentals from February/March 2021!


The spacious living room is accessed from the main entrance hall (with wc) and provides comfortable seating for 5/6 plus a bean bag.  There is a smart TV with Wii games console and sliding doors lead out to the rear patio area and garden.  There is also a separate 'reading room' with comfortable seating.  From here, stairs lead up to a mezzanine bedroom.  To the other side of the living room, access to the kitchen/dining room is found. The small, well equipped kitchen provides everything you need to cater for your family and a few steps lead down to a light and airy dining area with extending table and chairs for 6 - 8 people.  There is a utility room off the dining room which provides a washing machine, tumble dryer and space for clothes airing.


There are 4 bedrooms in total.  The main staircase from the entrance hall leads to a master bedroom with double bed and ample wardrobe space and has a lovely modern en-suite shower room.  Views are enjoyed across the garden and to the surrounding countryside.  Bedroom 2 is a double, again with lovely views over the garden and countryside.  Bedroom 3 has bunk beds (max weight 70kg) and views to the front across the village and to the hillside beyond.  Bedroom 4 is another double, accessed via a separate staircase from the reading room and is of an open mezzanine style. 


There is a family bathroom upstairs in the main area of the house (servicing bedrooms 2, 3 & 4), the master bedroom has an en-suite shower and there is a downstairs wc off the entrance hall.


There are two driveways providing ample parking for 3 vehicles to the front of the property, as well as parking available on the road.  To the rear there is a good sized south-facing landscaped garden (children will need to be supervised at all times as there are some drops) bordering onto fields and enjoying lovely countryside views plus a decked terrace with table and chairs for 'al-fresco dining'.  A coal BBQ is provided, and bikes/surfboards can be stored securely.

Wifi, bed linen & bath/hand towels are provided free of charge.

Walk to village - 5 minutes

Three well behaved pets are accepted at this property (additional charge), must not be allowed on any furniture or in the bedrooms. Also must not be left unattended at the property.

£60 booking fee payable at time of booking.

50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable).  If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.

Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

The house has everything you need for a holiday near the sea.

We really enjoyed staying in 34 Davids Hill, Georgeham. There was plenty of space both inside and outside for all our needs. There is a small shop in the village that caters for all basic food provisions. Putsborough beach is a short drive away along narrow lanes and although it is walkable it is quite a long walk. We appreciated being able to bring a dog and they even provided a water bowl for her! Thank you.

Fabulous location

The house is in a fabulous locatin with some great pubs nearby. The property is bright and spacious.
