The White House is a commanding, semi-detached property which is accessed via a private lane at Baggy Point in Croyde. Set just behind the South West Coast Path and borders the beautiful National Trust land at the rear. Being just a few moments' walk from Croyde' s surfing beach, guests will find this property an extremely convenient base for a holiday!
This property is not only about the location, it also offers versatile and spacious living rooms and bedrooms, all of which are decorated with an incredible amount of attention and elegance.
The kitchen is in the heart of the property and is fitted with all the necessities, including a range style gas hob, electric oven, and dishwasher. From the kitchen, you will find large double doors leading into the dining room. This room is opulent, with a decorative, period fireplace and ornate furniture providing dining seating for up to 10 guests (with the use of extending leaves for the table). As the dining room is set at the front of the property, it enjoys spectacular views across the ocean.
From the other end of the kitchen, a light, bright breakfast room can be found with conservatory-style roof which lets daylight in throughout the whole of the year.
This property also benefits from a utility area with washing machine, tumble dryer, additional fridge, and hand basin.
The living room has comfortable seating for all 10 guests. A large bay window to the front of this room has a fitted window seat, providing a wonderful place to sit back, relax and unwind whilst indulging in the magnificent views. There is also a wood burner in the lounge (logs not provided). A large 50" television is provided in this room.
A further lounge/snug room across the hallway is filled high with books and games. There is an additional television, further decorative fireplace and writing desk in this room. The sofa in this room can also be arranged as a sofa bed for two (only suitable for children).
Up the stairs the landing splits into two sections, leading to the rear and the front of the property. To the front of the property, the Master bedroom (with en-suite shower) and second double room can be found - once again, enjoying views across Croyde Bay and beyond. Two twin rooms are also found off this side of the staircase and at the back of the property there is a bunkroom. Downstairs, the snug has a small double sofa bed suitable for one adult or 2 children.
Upstairs there is large family bathroom with roll top bath and walk-in shower and the master bedroom also has a large en-suite. To the rear of the property on the first floor there is a separate WC. On the ground floor, you will find a large, wood panelled wet room with two showers and WC. You will also find hanging space for your wetsuits.
The garden is large and enclosed by an attractive, low picket fence (ensuring that the view is not obscured). The garden is arranged across several tiers of lawned areas, with a climbing frame and slide provided for use with adult supervision. The "pièce de résistance" is the incredible new HOT TUB (charges apply) which is well placed in the garden to make the most of the fantastic sea views. There is driveway parking for 2 - 3 cars.

£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 4 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 6 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 6pm and the check out time is 9am.

All members of family enjoyed facilities from hot tub and hot showers after swim to large comfortable beds. We loved the open plan aspect of the house where people in the kitchen could talk to people doing a jigsaw in the sun room or admiring the sea views from the dining room.
We had a fabulous week in the White House despite mixed weather. Suitable for all generations with stunning views, easy beach access and great dog walking on the coast path.
We had a wonderful stay at the White House (despite storm Jorge!). The layout suited us perfectly as everyone could be in/around the central kitchen, or away quietly in the sitting/reading room. The hot tub was a welcome addition after our windswept walks! I felt the house has enough comforts without feeling to precious to relax...perfect
New Years 2019/20 A fabulous time such a wonderful property in a stunning location. We were a full house and could of asked for nothing more. To wake up to that waterfront view across Croyde Bay just WOW! Super clean and tidy on our arrival, the house has pretty much everything (the hot tub overlooking the ocean is my personal favourite.

a group of friends and family, with all the facilities you could need.
Tremendous location: A stones throw away from Baggy Point, the beach, pubs and only a tiny drive to Saunton Golf Club.
Dog friendly and a good job too as the dogs love it!

Amazing quiet, seafront location but only 15 mins walking distance from Croyde beach and pubs. Perfect for group of friends or family. Couldn't recommend this place more. Will definitely return.
