Spacious accommodation and luxury kitchen and bathrooms make Luckenborough the ideal holiday home for large families or two families wishing to holiday together.
Living/Dining/Cooking
The large entrance hall opens into the open plan kitchen/dining living room which enjoys fantastic views over the gardens and out to sea. The dining area has seating for 10 and a few steps lead down to the spacious and comfortable living area with large sofas and cuddle chair, flat screen tv with Freeview, DVD player & stereo. The open fire is a bonus for the cooler months and fabulous views can be enjoyed from the full-length sliding doors leading out to the terrace.
The contemporary kitchen is well equipped with electric double oven and built-in microwave, induction hob and large fridge/freezer. A separate utility room provides a sink and washing machine.
Sleeping
Luckenborough has five large bedrooms located across two floors. The master bedroom is spacious and light with sliding doors leading out to the terrace and garden. A super king size bed provides plenty of space and can be split into twin beds on request. Flatscreen TV with Freeview plus modern en-suite shower room with double walk-in shower with drench head plus adjustable shower head, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.
Bedroom 2 is located downstairs and provides plenty of space with flatscreen tv and doors out to the side terrace. Super king size bed can also be split into twin beds on request. En-suite shower room with shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail.
The property has three more bedrooms all located on the same level as the Master bedroom. Bedroom 3 provides a super king size which can be split into twin beds on request and has wonderful sea views. Bedroom 4 is a twin bedroom and can be made up as a super king on request. Bedroom 5 provides a double bed and also benefits from the lovely sea views.
Bathing
The property boasts four bathrooms. The main contemporary family bathroom provides a bath with overhead shower, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail. A further shower room with drench head shower plus adjustable shower head, WC, hand basin and heated towel rail and the master bedroom and bedroom 2 downstairs both have en-suite shower rooms.
Outside
Outside the long sweeping drive leads up to the parking area with ample parking. A large terrace to the front provides outdoor table and chairs, perfect for 'al-fresco' dining and enjoying the beautiful sunsets over the bay. A coal BBQ is provided for your enjoyment plus lockable storage shed for bikes and surfboards. Children will enjoy exploring the acre of lawned garden, please be aware that some areas are quite steep.
One well behaved dog is accepted at this property.

Additional Booking Information
£60 non-refundable booking fee payable at time of booking.
50% of the accommodation cost and booking fee are required to secure the booking. The remaining balance & payment for any extras is due 8 weeks prior to arrival along with the refundable damages deposit (if applicable). If your dates are within 10 weeks, full payment is required.
Check-in time is from 4pm and the check-out time is 10am.

Our family spent last week in lovely Croyde and wow what a week we had. Arrived to find one of the bedrooms was a double a should have been twin. Contacted Matilda the housekeeper who very promptly and easily resolved the situation. Thanks. Everything and more that we needed in the house. So much space for our large family. The games, puzzles and book shelf had everything we needed. Even managed a 3 hour game of Devon Monopoly! The hill to the house was a challenge but on the up side, it certainly burned off a few calories! What a superb view from the balcony. Perfect place to sit after a busy day. Thanks for a lovely stay. Clean, comfortable and would recommend staying at this lovely property.

A fabulous 5 bedroom house with fantastic views across Croyde Bay. Everything you could wish for in a holiday house. Walking distance of the pubs and restaurants in the village. 5 star!
We booked Luckenborough as a base to celebrate a milestone birthday for one of the 14 members of our family. It was initially quite tricky to find a place big enough to accommodate our group, however Luckenborough offered ample space. The property is well equipped and has a nice family feel. The kitchen was modern and had all the appliances, crockery and utensils you could possibly need. The views from the property were absolutely amazing, but not surprising as the approach to the property was incredibly steep. Parking was good, and 4 cars easily fitted on the driveway. Luckenborough is walking distance to the local amenities as well as the beach. We would love to return, albeit when there isn't a storm, but even then it was a lovely place to stay and experience the elements.
The house enjoys a spectacular view of the bay, is spacious and well appointed and sits in its own grounds on a grassy hillside. It was in immaculate condition when we arrived. We had a great time.
This spacious house met all our needs, it was hard to find a property that had double beds in all rooms. Such a great location to the village and beach. Good workout climbing back up the drive. Recommend for a large family like ours

Loved staying here again. The view is superb, the layout works extremely well for our group of nine people, and we hope to return for a sixth visit next year.
Super property with the best view in the area! We have now stayed there four times, and hope to book for a fifth. It suits our three generations very well, with a kitchen well equipped for large opening onto the dining area and living room.
We had an incredible time here and we could not get over the wonderful view! Certainly, a summer we won't forget.

We had a most enjoyable Easter weekend at Luckenborough with three generations of our family. Making wonderful memories that I will treasure always. Only slight problem was using the hob as there were no instructions! Thoroughly recommended and hope to return.

Drive is very steep, but Mr Sainsburys managed it so not

Luckenborough is a lovely property situated within a few minutes walk of Croyde centre and the beach. Very spacious with large window expanses looking right down into the bay. We were a party of 7 and had space to spare. Beach was lovely and the kids really enjoyed the surfing. The deckchair cinema was great fun and we really liked the Stoned pizzas! Definitely somewhere we would consider coming to again.
